I am an Economics graduate from Middle East Technical University, one of Turkey's most demanding universities, focused on financial analysis, strategy and evaluating business and investment opportunities.
What interests me most is the moment a vague question becomes a structured one: which drivers matter, what the data actually supports, and what a decision-maker should do about it. I would rather deliver a defensible answer with its caveats stated than a confident one that does not survive scrutiny.
Working across Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Turkish, I am comfortable with sources, clients and colleagues that do not all speak the same language.
02 · Featured analysis
An independent research project, run end to end: what actually moves a public-health outcome, health spending, inequality, or growth?
Narrowed an open-ended question to three testable drivers and set the hypotheses first, rather than fitting a story to the output.
Compiled 32 years of annual figures from World Bank and central bank databases into one clean, analysis-ready dataset.
Health spending and GDP proved statistically significant; income inequality did not, in a model explaining 68% of the variation.
Ran a full battery of validity checks and stated plainly where the model's assumptions did not hold, instead of reporting the headline number uncritically.
Wrote the complete product: background research, methodology, findings, and a recommendation aimed at a policy audience.
